You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including task titles, purposes, approaches, enjoyment notes, reflection notes, and energy ratings (“User Content”).
By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App’s services. This includes:

The weekly insights generated by our AI features are provided for informational and motivational purposes only. They are not professional advice (medical, psychological, or otherwise). AI-generated content may not always be accurate or applicable to your situation.

The App, including its design, code, features, branding, and ARETE name and logo, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use them without any obligation to you.

ARETE is currently offered as a free service. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, we will notify you in advance and provide clear pricing information. You will never be charged without your explicit consent.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@aretetodo.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the App or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe violations.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of account termination, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
